Cheap flights to Egypt: Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada fares from Europe

Egypt is one of the most affordable sea destinations: an inexpensive flight, all-inclusive hotels and the warm Red Sea. Here is how to choose a resort and what the flights really cost.

All prices are one-way fares in US dollars from HotTrip search data of October 31, 2026, for departures from November 2026 to March 2027. "Typical" is the median of the lowest fare for each departure date.

What it costs from five cities

• London: from $67 on December 13 (1 stop, to Sharm El Sheikh). Typical price $100. January is cheapest (median $89), February the most expensive ($150). A direct flight from $187 on December 25, with about 5.4 hours as the fastest direct time.
• Frankfurt: from $86 on November 23 (1 stop, to Sharm El Sheikh). Typical price $131. February is cheapest (median $114), March the most expensive ($161). A direct flight from $110 on December 15, about 4.4 hours at the fastest.
• Paris: from $65 direct on January 1 (to Hurghada). Typical price $101. January is cheapest (median $77), November the most expensive ($116). There are 20 direct dates in the window, and the fastest direct time is 5 hours.
• Dubai: from $176 on November 26 (1 stop, to Hurghada). Typical price $238.
• New York: from $291 on November 24 (2 stops, to Sharm El Sheikh). Typical price $425. There are only 12 priced dates in the window, so the choice is thin.

Sharm El Sheikh or Hurghada

• Sharm El Sheikh (SSH) is on the Sinai Peninsula, with many coral reefs. Good for diving and calm holidays, with many hotels that have their own beaches. See Sharm El Sheikh: areas and beaches.

If simple entry matters, check the rules for the Sinai resort zone for your passport; if you want a wider choice of beaches and inexpensive hotels, look at Hurghada. Flight prices and hotels are often similar.

When to fly

• October to April is the comfortable season, with warm days. Demand is highest in December and January.
• May and September are hot but cheaper.
• June to August is very hot (+35°C and above), with lower prices.

Entry rules differ by citizenship: the Sinai resort zone allows a stamp for a limited stay in some cases, while other regions need a visa on arrival or online.
