What HotTrip is

HotTrip is a travel website that helps you find cheap flights and plan the trip. It combines a flight search with fares for nearby dates, hot deals from your departure city, guides to destinations, practical advice on baggage and tickets, travel news and plain explanations of your rights as a passenger.

Where the prices come from

Flight prices come from the search data of our partner Aviasales, delivered through the Travelpayouts platform. We show the lowest fares found for your route and dates. Fares change often, so the price you see on HotTrip can differ from the price at the moment of purchase.

We do not sell tickets. When you press "Details" or "View", you go to the partner's website, where the seller shows the final price and takes the payment.

How the guides and news are written

Guides and passenger rights explainers are written by the HotTrip team from official sources, such as the text of EU Regulation 261/2004 and the pages of the U.S. Department of Transportation, and from the fares in our own search. Travel news always names the source and the date. Photos come from Pexels and are credited under each article.

We aim to update articles when the rules or the facts change.

How we earn money

HotTrip earns a commission when you book through some of our links. It costs you nothing extra. Details and the list of partners are on the affiliate disclosure page.
