Cheap flights to Dubai: what they cost from London, New York and more

Dubai is a year-round city break and shopping trip with warm weather most of the year, beaches and a big airport hub. Fares depend heavily on the month, and a good choice of dates can save a lot. Below are real prices from five departure cities.

All prices are one-way fares in US dollars from HotTrip search data of October 31, 2026, for departures from November 2026 to March 2027. "Typical" is the median of the lowest fare for each departure date.

What it costs from five cities

• London: from $164 on December 4 (2 stops). Typical price $222. January is the cheapest month (median $213), December the most expensive ($253).
• Frankfurt: from $144 on January 14 (1 stop). Typical price $218. January median $170 against $324 in December.
• New York: from $316 on November 5 (1 stop). Typical price $398. January median $351 against $515 in December.
• Singapore: from $215 on November 1 (1 stop). Typical price $251. A direct flight from $304 on December 17, with about 7.5 hours as the fastest direct time. February is cheapest (median $236).
• Sydney: from $413 on November 24 (1 stop). Typical price $573. February median $439 against $716 in December.

The pattern is the same from every city: December is the most expensive month, and January and February are the cheapest of the window.

Which airport to choose

• Dubai (DXB) is the main international airport, close to the city center.
• Al Maktoum (DWC) is Dubai's second airport, further from the center.
• Sharjah (SHJ) and Ras Al Khaimah (RKT) are in neighboring emirates and often have cheaper flights. You can reach Dubai by bus or taxi. We cover them in Sharjah and Ras Al Khaimah.

When to fly

• October to April is the high season: comfortable weather (about +24 to +32°C) and the highest prices, especially in December and January.
• May and September are hot but cheaper, a good choice for a city break and hotels with air conditioning.
• June to August is very hot (+40°C and above) with the lowest prices.
